Ireland's major plein air painting festival was held in Wexford for the second time during the August bank holiday weekend, a selection of works from the exhibition are on view at the Pigyard Gallery untill the end of August.

Laura Cronin won the Mayoral Prize for best overall painting, sponsored by Wexford Borough Council for
'View from Trimmers Lane'
Ken Flynn won the Environmental Protection Agency Award for 'Friday Artists'.
Frank Sanford won the Heritage Council Award 'Waiting for Goddo'.
Grahame Booth won the Pigyard Gallery Award for 'Soft Day, Wexford'.
Paul Maloney won the T. Morris Bar Award for 'The Yard'.
Jennifer Holmes won the Wexford Credit Union Award for 'Auburn House Dahlias'.
Paul O'Kane won the Wexford County Council Award for 'Signal Box'.
The People's Choice Award sponsored by Spectrum Art & Framing and Winsor & Newton artist materials was won by Grahame Booth for 'Soft Day, Wexford' and runner-up was Billy Moore for 'Outside-In, Ferrybank, Wexford'. Winner of the voter's prize was Reiltin Murphy.
